Cricket Square inherits its name from the open space where, at the turn of the 19th and 20th century, games were played when Royal Navy ships visited Grand Cayman.
In 1994, with a vision to offer a perfectly balanced and scaled environment for Grand Cayman’s professional business community, developer King Flowers launched the first phase of Cricket Square.
With its high quality architecture, construction and landscaping, Cricket Square has grown to become the de-facto central business district of Cayman’s capital, George Town.
Orchid Development, part of the Flowers Group, has been operating since 1947 in the Cayman Islands. Hands-on management with attention to detail plays a very important role in our approach to both property development and management. In addition to Cricket Square, we own and lease multiple residential developments located in the beautiful South Sound area, close to George Town.

If you’re dynamic and effective, join our team. You could be building a career with a progressive property developer that has a rich and trusted heritage. A strong believer and supporter of both wellness and the environment, we take the utmost pride of our eco-friendly values and diverse corporate culture.
Over our multi-decade tenure in Cricket Square we have always found Orchid – King and his team – to be excellent, attentive landlords. Their creativity and attention to detail is second to none. From day one we have always enjoyed a relationship based on sound commercial grounds; always responsive and, above all, pragmatic.
Having rented within Cricket Square for years, our feeling has always been that this is more of a partnership than a landlord/tenant relationship and we wouldn’t consider moving anywhere else. The high quality of the office buildings is matched only by the similarly high qualities of the amenities and staff.
